Kentucky has hundreds of people and programs working to help students and families prepare for life after high school. The Kentucky College and Career Connection Coalition is a voluntary statewide network of Kentucky college and career outreach professionals, programs, agencies and organizations that provide college and career outreach and support services.

Formally created in February 2015, the Council on Postsecondary Education, Kentucky Adult Education, the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), and the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) serve as the charter partner agencies of Ky3C, with GEAR UP Kentucky (GUK) currently serving as the convener and facilitator on behalf of CPE.

One of Ky3C’s initial collaborative projects is a new phase of the KnowHow2GOKy media campaign called KnowHow2Pay campaign. The KnowHow2Pay campaign is a "by-students, for-students" campaign that aims to increase awareness of the different ways Kentucky students and families can make it more affordable to earn a college degree.  A new series of student-developed Public Service Announcements focused on college affordability will launch spring 2016 and be aired on TV and radio statewide through GEAR UP Kentucky’s partnership with the Kentucky Broadcasters Association
