The KnowHow2Pay campaign is a partnership between GEAR UP Kentucky, the Kentucky College and Career Connection Coalition (Ky3C), and the Prichard Committee Student Voice Team, among other partnering organizations. The new KnowHow2Pay ads are the latest phase of the long-running KnowHow2GOKy campaign sponsored by the Council on Postsecondary Education and the GEAR UP Kentucky program.

All of the KnowHow2Pay Public Service Announcements (PSAs) were written and produced by students and feature Kentucky students explaining different ways to pay and plan for education after high school.  Five of the 30-second broadcast ads below were chosen as winning entries in a statewide “KnowHow2Pay PSA Challenge” in winter 2016, a contest open to all students through the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) coordinated by the Kentucky Department of Education. The first place winner was “Capable” created by Rest Aliu, a junior at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington.

The KnowHow2Pay PSAs will begin airing statewide in summer 2016 through a partnership with the Kentucky Broadcasters Association's Public Education Partnership program
